The Cellars-Hohenort is located in "Cape Town's Vineyard", the historical Constantia Valley, with its views of South Africa's famous Table Mountain. We have 52 rooms that boast panoramic views of the iconic mountain and our manicured gardens. Our rooms range from double rooms to luxury double rooms, suites and the opulent Madiba Villa.
Our location, just 15 minutes from the city centre, allows us to offer a number of activities for our guests, from action-packed mountain activities to leisure walks connecting the local wine farms, to a full day’s activities in the Mother City.
At the hotel we have two award-winning restaurants to take our guests on a memorable culinary journey. Greenhouse and The Conservatory are both run by our Relais & Châteaux Grand Chef, Peter Tempelhoff. At Greenhouse guests can expect a playful tasting menu that celebrates local ingredients with modern interpretations, while The Conservatory serves traditional recipes, including a selection of The Collection founder Liz McGrath's favourite dishes.
After a full day of activities, a quick visit to our Fresh Wellness Spa will leave you rejuvenated and ready for the next day. We also have a large heated pool, tennis courts and vineyards, and our gardens have lots to offer and are well worth a visit.
With its views of Table Mountain, world-class facilities, delectable cuisine and a diverse selection of luxury rooms set in glorious surroundings, The Cellars-Hohenort is an ideal venue for your special event.
Whether you’re contemplating the perfect setting to swop vows with the love of your life, or require a one of a kind venue where you can host an extraordinary corporate function, look no further than The Cellars-Hohenort. Our experienced events team will bring your vision to life.
The Cellars-Hohenort is a proud member of IGLTA, the International Gay & Lesbian Travel Association. IGLTA is dedicated to connecting and educating LGBT travellers and the businesses that welcome and support them along the way.
