What is life but one grand adventure?

South Africa’s Overberg is the ultimate natural arena for adventure lovers. Within its incredibly scenic borders expect a plethora of land-based activities such as mountain biking, trail running, fat bike tours, horse riding, hiking, abseiling, archery and more.

At the heart of this diverse Western Cape landscape—one with towering mountains, milkwood forests, sweeping canola fields and rugged coastlines—lies The Marine on the cliff paths of Walker Bay. This historic hotel dates back to the very origins of the town of Hermanus itself, its graceful bones have been built on the thrill of coastal adventure.
