If you have worked for The Collection by Liz McGrath you’ll know that it is more than just a job, it is like being part of a family. When people move on, to work for other establishments, they almost always stay in touch with their old team members; and they often get together when the right opportunity presents itself.
This week Nigel Pace, who used to work at The Plettenberg, took Baloyi - who presently works in The Cellars-Hohenort’s gardens and used to work at The Plettenberg - to the Spain vs. Portugal game and it really looks like they had a terrific time!
Now that we are just spectators in the World Cup we are going to join The Marine spirit by selecting another nation to support in the upcoming matches.
Presently The Marine staff are diverse in their support of countries with the most popular being Portugal, Argentina, Ghana and Brazil.

Last night, in their 2 - 1 victory over France the 2006 World Cup champions, Bafana Bafana reinforced our Proudly South African stance. They fought to the end and, although they didn’t make it through to the round of 16, they claimed a permanent spot in our hearts!
