Vuvuzelas are set to play a major role in the 2010 World Cup. The noise, created by a stadium full of vuvuzelas, is deafening. We believe that, if you’re attending any of the 2010 matches, you have two choices: you can complain about the noise or you can join in and add to it.
Playing a vuvuzela is trickier than most realize. We have found this excellent instructional video that Goal.com put together for the recent Confederations Cup. If you follow the simple instructions you should be an expert by the time you attend your first 2010 World Cup match.

A new partnership between Cape Town Tourism, Metrorail and The Green Cab Company aims to bring an eco-friendly addition to the southern line for 2010 World Cup tourists. The Rail and Ride project, which was launched last weekend at Indaba, is set to begin operating in the first week of next month.
When we have more information as to how this initiative works, what it costs and how you would go about making use it we will post it right here on our blog.
Both of these awards were awarded at the Old Mutual Trophy Wine Show. For those unacquainted with the Old Mutual Trophy Wine Show it recognises the top local wines and winemakers and it honours excellence in the wine industry. The high quality of the judging process at the Old Mutual Wine Show ensures that it is regarded, by many, to be one of South Africa’s most credible.
We are sure that the rest of the Constantia Valley will join us in our hearty congratulations … well done to everyone at Eagles’ Nest!
