Should there be an increase in the accommodation rate, value added tax or the tourism / grading levy, you will be advised in writing of the date from which this will be effective. Kindly note that service charges are not included in accommodation rates.

CONFIRMATION OF RESERVATION
The hotels must be sent a voucher, or should a voucher not be available, confirmation on the operator's letterhead, confirming the guest's stay prior to arrival. This must be received 30 days prior to arrival.
In order to be valid, all reservations, amendments and cancellations must be confirmed to the hotel in writing within the stipulated periods.
We do not have a Tour Leader policy per se, this is normally a discretionary decision as and when the request comes in.

CANCELATION POLICY
All cancellations need to be confirmed in writing.
Should the reservation be cancelled 30 days or less prior to arrival, you will be liable for the full payment of said accommodation booked.
In the event of an early departure or no show, you will be liable for all the nights originally reserved.

2010 SOCCER WORLD CUP POLICY - 04/06/10-18/07/10
- A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure the reservation.
- The remaining non-refundable 50% will be due for payment 6 months prior to arrival.
- The above policy will be strictly adhered too.

PAYMENT
Full amount is due 30 days prior to arrival for bookings outside of the World Cup period
(04/06/10-18/07/10). Payment can be done via bank transfer or by credit card. Banking details are as follows:

SUPPLY OF INFORMATION
Not less than fourteen (14) days prior to the date of arrival, the operator shall provide the hotel with the following information:
- Accurate guest information, including the correct spelling of names, titles, expected time of arrival.
- Details of special requests, including bed type, special occasions, etc.
- Method of payment of any extras.

GENERAL
Check-in time is from 14h00. A guaranteed check-in prior to 14h00 can be pre-registered from the night before for an additional charge equal to one night's accommodation.
Check-out time is at 11h00. Any requests for a late departure are subject to availability and may be subject to a late departure fee of 50% of the applicable rate. Late departures after 15h00 are subject to a charge of one additional night's accommodation.

CHILDREN POLICY
- Children from 12 years of age are welcome.
- We are unable to accommodate a third person sharing.
- In the Beach House and Lookout Villa at The Plettenberg, children of all ages are welcome. Same rates apply.

UNDERTAKING OF THE COMPANY
Subject to the provisions of the reservation, we undertake to provide the facilities to the clients at the hotel upon the terms detailed in the booking and subject to the following:
- The client shall be responsible for any damage or destruction of the hotel and its property.
- The client shall comply with all reasonable requests and directions from the hotel's management.

No changes will be honoured unless confirmed in writing by Veronique Rossouw on behalf of The Collection by Liz McGrath.
