Greenhouse is a place where local ingredients and great African fables come together in a tasting menu that takes guests on a unique culinary experience. It's why we were ranked number four in the 2015 Eat Out Mercedes-Benz Restaurant Awards' list of South Africa's top 10 restaurants, along with the Bsochendal Style Award.
The Summer menu offers dishes such as “Release the Kraken”, an ethically-sourced octopus dish dramatically presented with swirling dry ice and bursts of black octopus ink.
There’s a dedicated vegetarian menu where you’ll find creations like Mushrooms & Things – the things in this case being maitake, strawberry, fruit beer, pea & truffle. The Brassicas dish – charred broccoli, cauliflower bitterballen, romesco and split herbs – is also a highlight.
