A reflection of its seaside location, SeaFood at The Plettenberg is a celebration of the local marine bounty and seasonal produce of the Plettenberg Bay area.
Signature dishes that incorporate the flavours and natural ingredients of the Garden Route have been designed by Peter Tempelhoff and SeaFood’s culinary team to reflect a taste of the bay. Set in a contemporary, relaxed environment, with an emphasis on fresh fish, SeaFood at The Plettenberg showcases a sustainable taste of the region.
The menu offers diverse fish and seafood styles: The Plettenberg seafood soup, parmesan and chive crusted line fish, Martha’s Cape Malay chicken & prawn curry, tandoori spiced white fish, prawn & leek gnocchi, fish and chips, stir-fried calamari with egg noodles and, for the ultimate seafood indulgence, The Plettenberg Deluxe Seafood Platter.
The menu also features a selection of non-fish options, known as Collection Signature Dishes, which have become highlights on our menus across The Collection by Liz McGrath and include: grilled Outeniqua springbok loin, slow roast crispy duck with exotic mushrooms and the Plettenberg gourmet cheese burger.
SeaFood at The Plettenberg brings the sand, beach and sea into the restaurant through its colours, mood and design, which combine elegantly with the spectacular views of Formosa Bay.
SeaFood at The Plettenberg is open for lunch and dinner seven days a week.
